My Life Part 2 rather New Life Part 2

Hello there! I will bet my bottom dollar! As a starter for ten! Cheerio! Go native!

Again som weird opening! I bet you would have thought that. Yes, these are the words/phrases which I learnt during this period. For a change, I am really working guys! :-) I have a good manager now. He's kinda techie manager who really likes the spirit in me.

Lets travel into my new life now. I board the train at Hounslow. It travels to Osterley, Boston Manor, Northfields, South Ealing, Acton Town, Hammersmith,Earls Court, Barons Court, Gloucester Road, Knightsbridge, South Kensington, Hyde Park Corner, Green Park. Believe me or not! I typed all these from my head. I dint refer the map. My Picaddilly line journey finishes there!

A lesson which I learnt in Green Park station is there are many ways to achieve a target and in the process of achieving optimum solution, you will fail a couple of times. I can see people's swearing noises. What the hell he's talking about! I found three ways to reach my next train line. Thats Victoria line. As you know, London has lots of train lines to travel inside London.

1 way is full walk thru tubes and guided signposts under ground.
2nd way is full walk but thru a shortcut
3rd one is less walk with a couple of escalators.

3rd one is the best for a lazy bum like me. I take that and reach Victoria line. An afro-brit announces the arrival of train to Walthamstow. An Irish-Brit runs the train and an Indian gets in. Again an example of diversity!

By this time I would have completed metro and guys u know I am a fan of Chelsea now! Metro is full of Gossips, Sports and a bit of news. Good thing is I learn a lot of slangs from it. Bad news is I end up reading about.......... Lets continue in next one

Did you think why the hell he started like this? Even I don't know

I am into a new contract guys! Life is not the same for me anymore! My old project was a stone's throw away! Did I put the Apostrophe right? Is the spelling for ' right? Come on go back to your blog Swami! GSK project is done! Had a good challenging time! Made some god friends! Did some work!

Now the project is at Essex! Yes, I can hear those at London saying what???? I take Piccadilly and then to Victoria! At Tottenhamhale, yeah spurs home, I board the train to Harlow town! An hour and 40 minutes journey! At times when a person under train, faulty signals, crappy weather it even takes 2 hours!

But I am not complaining! London is a marvelous city! U can see the world here! I don't know probably it has a representative from each country of the world! I board train at Hounslow East! I pick up a Metro! Touch my Oyster card and 33 steps I am at the station!

I see the time at station and look for the temperature monitor above the shop next to station! I have my brothers iPod with me now, so a mix of Tamil, hindi and english music. Bear with my mistakes around letter cases, I am tired to press the shift with a letter so all are in lower case:) I mean all the languages.

Anyway, let me speak about the people in station! Average people getting into the train in a day would be 50 I guess! Let me be a bit Obamaish! There are Asians, Black, Brits, Poles, Americans, Disabled, Not Disabled etc in the station.

Most of them with a metro in their hands! To be continued

கோசி பதக்கம்!

நான் இறந்தால் காசியில் சாம்பலை கரைத்து விடு என்று சொன்னவள்
இன்று கோசி நதியில் முழுதுமாக கரைந்தாள்!
கன்று போனது, கண் போனது கழுத்தில் இருந்த ஒரு நகை போனது
மிஞ்சியது நான் மட்டும் அவள் பேத்தி!

பையில் காசு இல்லை, வயிறில் பசி உண்டு
ஒதுங்க இடம் இல்லை, கண்ணில் நீர் உண்டு
உடுத்த உடை இல்லை, நெஞ்சில் வீரம் உண்டு

உடைந்த பானையாய் போவதற்கா பாலுட்டினேன் என்றாள் மேலிருந்து அன்னை!
பயம் ஒரு வியாதி, உன்னை உருக்கி உயிரை உருக்கும் சொன்னார் விண்ணிலிருந்து அப்பா!

நேரே நின்றாள் இவள்! நீந்தினாள் பிணங்களை தாண்டி! பீடங்களை தாண்டி!
பத்து நிமிடம், இருபத்து நிமிடம், முப்பது நிமிடம் தரை தெரியவில்லை!
இவள் மூச்சு பைக்கு தண்ணீர் தெரியவில்லை! இவள் தலை சாயவில்லை!

இந்த நினைப்போடு இவள் நிற்பது தங்க பதக்க மேடையில்!
எங்கள் பயிற்சி வெள்ளத்தில்!
எங்கள் முயற்சி உயிர் காக்கும் போராட்டத்தில்!

Of late I have developed interests in Tamil, Positive Thinking and Meditation. Sorry for the readers who don't know tamil. But the following is a very good poem about Positive thinking. It's in Tamil and it has a sort of divine thoughts. I started reading this in the Tamil Virtual Library.

When I started reading this, my wife yawned and said that am looking like her Tamil Ayya. I laughed and continued reading. I love this poet man. He's one wonderful person who ignites you. One who had thought all self improvement techniques in the early nineties. Read this kavithai from Bharathi's collection! quite inspiring!
